About Tamilnadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam [TMMK]

About TMMK

Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (Tamil Nadu Muslim Progress Conference) or TMMK is a Muslim non-governmental organization established in the state of Tamil Nadu in India in 1995. TMMK has its branch offices in all the districts of Tamil Nadu and in several villages of the state. It also has its foreign offices in Malaysia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Burunei, Uganda and other gulf countries have more than 4 lakh members. It was involved in Tsunami relief work and does social services including blood donation camps, orphanage charity, eye camps and free ambulance services to poor. Currently our association operating 147 free ambulances all over Tamilnadu for free services to all the community. And also we are operating 4 Hospitals in TamilNadu to serve the needy and poor people. Our Moto is to support the needy people without the religious boundaries and create togetherness and peaceful.

TMMK Views On Terrorism

Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (Tamil Nadu Muslim Progress Conference) or TMMK has condemned several acts of terrorism in India and in foreign lands. When the Al-Qaeda released a video related to Indian sub-continent, Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam [TMMK] condemned it and advised Indian Muslims to ignore such hate messages. The leader of TMMK said “this (message) will only help security agencies in country to further target Muslim youth in case a terrorist act does take place. In several occasions, TMMK has also condemned Israel for its brutality against Palestinian People. It has also raised voices for UN intervention to stop genocide of Palestinians. Similarly, Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam [TMMK] has protested the genocide of Tamil people in Sri Lanka.

In early 2009 [7 February 2009], a new political party MMK was launched after an amendment to the bylaws. Founded by M. H. Jawahirullah. Headquarters address of 7, Vadamaraicoir Street Mannady, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. For the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, 2011, the party joined the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam alliance and was allocated three seats to contest. Jawahirullah won in Ramanathapuram and A. Aslam Basha did so in Ambur. For the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, 2016 the party joined with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam(DMK) alliance and was allocated four constituencies to contest.

தமிழ்நாடு முஸ்லிம் முன்னேற்றக் கழகம் [தமுமுக]

தமுமுக என அழைக்கப்படும் தமிழ்நாடு முஸ்லிம் முன்னேற்றக் கழகம் முஸ்லிம் மக்களின் உரிமைகளைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்காகத் தொடங்கப்பட்ட ஒரு இயக்கமாகும். இது 1995ஆம் ஆண்டில் ஆகத்து 1ம் தியதி பேரா. ஜவாஹிருல்லா, பி. ஜைனுல் ஆபிதீன், எஸ்.எம். பாக்கர், செ.ஹைதர்அலி, குணங்குடி ஹனீபா போன்றவர்களால் தொடங்கப்பட்டது.

பாபர் மசூதி இடிப்பு பற்றிய வரலாற்று நிகழ்வுகளை வருடந்தோறும் பொதுக்கூட்டங்கள் நடத்தி வருவதோடல்லாமல் இடிப்பு தினமான திசம்பர் 6 அன்று போராட்டங்கள் பலவற்றையும் நடத்தி வருகிறது. தமிழ்நாடு அரசு முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு 3.5 சதவீத இடஒதுக்கீடை வழங்க போராடிய முஸ்லிம் இயக்கங்களுள் முதன்மையானதாக உள்ளது.

சமுகப்பணிகள்
தமிழகம் முழுவதும் 146 அவசர ஊர்திகளுடன் அனைத்து மக்களுக்கும் சேவையாற்றும் ஒரு அமைப்பாகும். முனனால் தமிழக முதல்வர் மு.கருணாநிதி அவர்கள் த.மு.மு.கவின் சமூகப்பணிகளை பாராட்டி, த.மு.மு.கவின் அவசர கால ஊர்தி பணியை வெகுவாக பாராட்டிய முதல்வர் தனது சொந்த செலவில் 2 அவசர ஊர்திகளை த.மு.மு.கவிற்கு அன்பளிப்புச் செய்துள்ளார்.

அதிக எண்ணிக்கையில் இரத்ததான செய்ததற்காக மாநில அளவிலும், மாவட்ட அளவிலும் பல விருதுகளை குவித்துள்ளது.

இந்தியாவில் இருந்து அரபு நாடுகளுக்கு வேலைக்காகச் சென்றிருப்பவர்கள் அங்குதமிழ் முஸ்லிம்களை நிர்வாகிகளாக கொண்டு கிளைகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டு செயல்பட்டு வருகின்றன. ரமலான் காலங்களில் ஜகாத் மற்றும் ஏனைய தர்மங்களைப் பெற்று தமிழகத்தில் இயங்கும் தலைமை அமைப்புக்கு வேண்டிய நிதியுதவிகளை செய்து வருகின்றனர். இரத்த தானம், ஏழைகளுக்கான இலவச திருமணம், கல்வி விழிப்புணர்வு பிரச்சாரங்கள், இஸ்லாமிய சொற்பொழிவுகளையும் நடத்தி வருகிறது. தேர்தல் மற்றும் பொது பிரச்சினைகளில் முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு மத்தியில் விழிப்புணர்வு பிரச்சாரங்களை மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது.

இந்தியாவில் இருந்து அரபு நாடுகளுக்கு வேலைக்காகச் சென்றிருக்கும் முஸ்லிம் அல்லாதவர்களுக்கும் உதவிகள் செய்கின்றனர்.

அரசியல் பிரிவு
இதன் அரசியல் பிரிவாக கடந்த 2009 ஆம் ஆண்டு மனிதநேய மக்கள் கட்சி தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
